The need to prepare mainstream teachers in evidence-based approaches and practices to enhance the academic and social learning opportunities for these children is imperative. Therefore, having as target group primary school teachers.

Objective

The course has as objective to assist teachers to apply activities to support students with autism in the mainstream classroom- This is presented through evidenced-based approaches (based on the science of behavior applied analysis) and practices to enhance the academic and social learning opportunities for these children. It brings together all interrelated aspects of the learning process, recognising the importance of general situations that a teacher has to handle in the delivery of their training course and identifying new situations and issues that
call for action by them.
